IS GOD REAL??

RANDOM CHANCE?

DEVELOPED APART FROM A CREATOR?

JUST KIND OF HAPPENED??

No......

    GOD IS REAL...

Among the most convincing evidences that proves that God is real, is His very own creation. Genesis 1:1 says: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." When times of doubt set in, take time to look around at the beauty and complexity of our earth, land, water, skies, sun, and life before us. God says in His word (Genesis 1:9) that His creation was "Good". There is no other answer to the question: God, Himself, is the designer, creator, and builder of our earth, waters, skies, and universe.  The more time spent exploring and embracing His work, the less you'll have to ask for a "sign" of His existence!!

GOD IS REAL: THE FIRST STEP
      BY AARON BERNAU, GOD-IS-REAL.ORG

Consider this....

Most people debate over our world being in existence as either a divine creator or that of a product of evolution.  Let's define the two.

Creator:  (Theory of Intelligent Design) - all life is the product of an intelligent and purposeful and precise design of a creator

Random:  (Theory of Evolution) - All life arose from non-living material and diversified into every observed species by a mechanism of random chance unguided genetic mutation, and natural selection.  Process: random, unguided.

Consequences of both:

Random:  Life will have no purpose, nothing beyond death.  Loss of life is truly permanent.

Creator:  God is Real.  There are worldly and eternal consequences for our sin.

ANSWERS:

God doesn't give us 100% assurance of His existence, from a worldly sense.  That margin is called "faith".  Doubt is okay, for it is doubt that allows us to challenge the evidence in the world for His existence, a process of spiritual growth, maturity.  The integral of doubt is faith.  The first step is identifying that there is, in fact, a creator.  Let's keep it simple.

That said, let's say you were new to the world and were walking a pathway and discovered on the trail a small camera, as pictured below.  You picked it up and have never seen a camera before and you begin looking it over.  You pop the plastic backing off of the unit and expose its inner workings.  Without any explanation to the device, you can immediately conclude a few very obvious and basic things.  The most clear of those is that this device is the product of a creator.  The wires and the design directly associate a designer/ creator.  There is nothing random about the assembly of the camera device.  There are literally hundreds of tiny parts, mechanisms, that make the unit as a whole function.  If any primary part were damaged, it simply would not work.  Very few would claim that this device would or could be the product of random chance.  Essentially, earthly matter did not evolve over time into this specific functional device.

Moving on, is it any more reasonable to presume that the human eye, for example, with literally thousands, if not millions of parts and components, was not the product of design as well?  Similar to the reference with the camera, if any primary part of the eye is not assembled correctly, the eye simply does not work.  While we do have blind people in our worldly population, the number is not significant to suggest that their blindness is associated to a premature evolutionary status compared to those who can see.  If evolution were true, it would have taken successive life forms in development to yield a working, functional eye-- there would be a period in our history in which human beings had under-developed and pre-functioning eyes.  That said, we have no written or other historical evidence of human life forms without vision, or pre-functional eyesight.

Where is the evidence "in-between"? Where is the evidence of development?  Where is the evidence of "eyes-in-progress"?  Where is evidence of succession?  There is none.  God created the eye, He created man, and then woman.  And from the very first being, Adam-- that man He created could see.

If you are not comfortable proclaiming that the camera above could come into existence by evolution or by theory of random design, ask yourself why you might be comfortable with the determination that the human eye, or any other part of God's living design, are created by random chance.

If you conclude that the theory of Evolution is not a viable answer, you may not realize it, but you have left yourself with only one option: that of a creator.  In the same way that Canon designers drafted the dimensions and components of their camera, the creator of universe, the "heavens and the light".

Read God's own written word:

Genesis 1

The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning葉he first day.

6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning葉he second day.

9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.

11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning葉he third day.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights葉he greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning葉he fourth day.

20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning葉he fifth day.

24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
       in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground容verything that has the breath of life in it悠 give every green plant for food." And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning葉he sixth day.

Genesis 2

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

That is what God's written word has to say regarding the creation.  Begin your pursuit to find the truth.  Evolutionary theory is rejected mostly do to bad foundational study, in fact most evolutionary study tends to provide more and more evidence to that of a creator.  You will notice that many evolutionists discourage consulting the Bible for scientific answers to our worldly questions.  Christians will not deter you from evolutionary documents, articles, and books as they completely return the conclusion that God is Real.

Dive in to some of Charles Darwin's works and see just how many assumptions/ presumptions have to be made to conclude an evolutionary decision.  His own follower's find constant fault in his theories.  Regarding the scientific studying of the fossil remains, Darwin himself said, "It's perhaps the most obvious and serious objection to my theory."  Well if science doesn't prove his theory, what will?  In fact science continues to prove the existence of a creator, and science continues to support the contents of the Bible, the actual written word of God.  There is only one real truth, we are the product of a living God:  GOD IS REAL!!

Chicago pastor, James MacDonald stated in one sermon that if you are uncertain and have some doubt, just try asking God.  If you fall to your knees and ask God to reveal Himself for a period of thirty days (while there is nothing definitive in thirty), He WILL reveal Himself.  Try it.

Is There a God?
By Marilyn Adamson
Does God exist? Is there proof of God? The following offers candid,
straight-forward reasons to believe in the existence of God...

You can search all over the internet for additional resources that will aid in your pursuit of
the truth.  Among the most inspiring articles (short resources) that I discovered, was an article
written in 1996 for the Campus Crusade for Christ by Marilyn Adamson entitled, "Is There a God?".

I contacted Ms. Adamson regarding her article and she has graciously given permission for the
article to be linked to our site for you.  I would encourage all to spend time in her words as she
begins to reveal the TRUTH.    It is an excellent resource.
